Necessary documents

We need these documents from the future owner/director:

  • Filled order form
  • Passport
  • Copy of address card or official proof of address, or driver’s license with address
  • Tax card or authorised document of your personal tax number
  • CV
  • Business plan

If the company owner is an other company, please ask for the mandatory documents list, because it varies upon the nationality and ownership of the company. The company formation fee can be different if the owner is a company. Please ask for special quotation in that case!

Share capital of a Hungarian kft: The share capital of a Hungarian kft is 3,000,000 HUF (approximately 7,800 EUR). Share capital downpayment can be postponed. Clients need to deposit that amount into the company’s bank account upon the date in the legal contracts. Later they can use up this money for the company’s expenses.

Why don’t we have ready made-shelf companies? Forming a new company is a faster process in Hungary , because the company court decision is much faster in case of a new company formation. That’s why we recommend our clients to buy a new company instead of ready made one. The EU VAT number issuing is fast and guaranteed in Hungary upon formation, thereby a new formation is a faster solution and it is just as safe as buying a shelf Hungarian kft. The bank account opening process is the same as transferring the account for a new beneficial owner.

Remote company purchase steps:
  1. You get a hold of us via email and we liaise about your inquiry. If necessary we provide more general and company information to our clients.
  2. Our colleague is going to send you an email with an order questionnaire, where you can choose a company name and future scope of activities.
  3. In the next step we are going to send you a 50% advance pro forma invoice. You should pay that by bank transfer.
  4. You need to send us a copy of your valid Passport, a copy of address card or official proof of address and personal tax number. Our legal staff also need a CV and business plan.
  5. Preparation of the documents. We are going to email you the necessary documents to complete. The documents have to be authenticated by the local Hungarian embassy/consulate.
  6. As soon as we received the consulate attested incorporation documents from you, our lawyers submit it to the company court. You should pay the second 50% company formation fee before this step. The clients will receive both paper based counter-signed incorporation documents and electronically attested files of the legal documents right after the company court decision (3-14 days usually).
  7. Bank account assignment. Neo-Bank account can be assigned remotely. Our collegaues will get in touch with you after the company is incorporated.
  8. Introducing to the accountant. Submitting yearly tax filing is mandatory in Hungary. That means you have to have an accountant. Our English speaking accountant partner is available for an online meeting after the incorporation process.
  9. 6 months registered office service is included in the price, after that you should pay the office fee yearly, which is 381 Euros/year. Please read more information about our registered office service on the other page.
